You shouldn't expect anything special here. A beautiful forest path, but not worth a detour just because of the promising name.

I once read that the dealers used to take a break here. No idea if that's right.

With us locals, it's actually called Brotwäschtsgrowe. Merchants who wanted to bring their goods to Biedenkopf are said to have stopped here with bread and sausages in the past. Hence the name.
