The Kieferngrundsee in Steinfurt is a somewhat calmer body of water. The 2 km long circular path (it is a path and not necessarily suitable for cyclists) around the lake is perfect for a relaxed walk with a great view of the lake. The lake is also a great place for anglers, as the current is weak and the shore is flat and gently sloping.
