With an area of 22 hectares, the Erdnger Weiher is the largest quarry pond in the district of Erding. It was built in 1965 for gravel mining. Today it is a local recreation area.

The location is great, the service friendly, the prices cheap and the cake was delicious. What more does one want? Oh yes: There is a beautiful view of the reservoir as well.

A great stop at the end of a day's stage! Beer garden with lake view and great hotel with very clean, quiet and modern rooms. Stayed here for one night while passing through and will definitely be back! If you are looking for travel accommodation near Landshut, you are in good hands here, even as a cyclist passing through.
