The popular local recreation area of Lake Kranzberg pampers its bathers with green lawns and a restaurant with a beer garden. Located in the idyllic Ampertal valley, Lake Kranzberg is a particularly popular recreation area for families. Due to its shallow depth, the lake warms up quickly. Shallow shorelines, spacious lawns, and a new, spacious playground are further advantages. The "Concetta" lake house (closed on Mondays) offers a cozy place to stop for a bite to eat. A 1.3 km circular hiking trail surrounds the lake, which is also particularly suitable for families. The best place to start the circular hike is at the Seehaus parking lot (Am Kranzberger See 1, Kranzberg), which leads close to the shore around the beautifully situated lake.

A beautiful, sheltered swimming pond with warm water early in the day. A nice entry point with a jetty, but on weekends the narrow lawn is unfortunately far too small for the crowds.

Very nice place here. Few people there but something hidden. Very easy to reach by bike.
