Near Steinbach, on the right bank of the Steyr, there is a beautiful garden which, in the evening, is uniquely enchanting due to its lovely lighting.

A unique "floral splendor" every year. Normally a very deep, muddy trail, but this year, thanks to the dry weather, it's not muddy and pleasant to hike. At 19°C and sunny, it's simply worth seeing.

As the Alpine Association points out that the trail is an alpine trail, I strongly recommend that you pack your crampons on your hike at this time of year. The trail is sometimes very slippery because of the snow and the "running wall".

From the Dorngraben via the Pfaffenboden there are a variety of hiking options. 1. The Grünburger hut (managed by the Alpine Club hut) 2. The 3 thousand meter tour: Dürres Eck-Gaisberg-Hochbuchberg, 3. Pfaffenboden-Gaisberg-Mollner hut,4. Dorngraben-Pfaffenboden-Schoberstein, 5. Pfaffenboden-Grünburger Hütte-Hochbuchberg and several more variants can be combined.

Wonderful wide waterfall, the cool water of the Schreibach flows into the Trattenbach.
