If there's a waterfall nearby, it attracts us, and this time it was a highlight too, absolutely beautiful.

The path is great. Always close to the Leisnitz. It is difficult for new hikers at first. You just have to take breaks more often. And there can be cows in the way. The Bonner Alm is very beautifully situated but needs to improve on the food. But on the way back we made a detour to the Schlögl mountain inn. The mountain inn is recommended. Game enclosure, plus llamas, pedal cars for children, and there is also a sauna. The food is also great.

Now that the Punschkuchl team from Tulln has taken over the hut, it is hipper, a bit more alternative and much more loving than other huts. You can go SUP, at 8 there is yoga with a view of the Hafner and the breakfast buffet is absolutely amazing.

Waterfall romance

As inexperienced hikers, we started with the short route of 5 km, which is certainly worth it. What we were very happy with are the tracking sticks so that you can keep your balance much better. Because in some parts there are quite a few loose stones and irregularities where the sticks came in handy. In addition, good walking shoes are not an unnecessary luxury (but that is logical) After point 2 we had to loosen the electric fence twice to take the correct path, but if you put them back in, that is no problem at all. Furthermore, beautiful views, waterfalls and benches. The walk is definitely worth it. Fell Spaß.
