Since this is a private path, biking is not allowed. But push! A pity! But the valley is really awesome. Beautiful.

Super nice, continuously paved route. The Gössgraben is also called the valley of the falling waters because of its many waterfalls. I have to admit that I was last here about 20 years ago. So my expectations of the roaring masses of water were really high. Unfortunately that was not the case. This year (2022) we had a lot of snow, but it hardly rained in spring. But even without the waterfalls, this valley is really worth seeing. Narrow serpentines, beautiful alpine pastures and great views of the mountains never cease to amaze. Since GPS and network are hardly available here…. download your tour offline 😉

Attention: Unfortunately, the parking lot is only accessible to hut guests. A barrier only allows you to drive up to 4 km and 340 m in front of the Wansinghütte. There is NO parking space there. The route through the valley runs on the road through a lot of forest and is therefore only moderately idyllic. Once you're up, it's really nice. You just have to consider that the tour is then 8 km and 700 hm longer!

Beautiful Malta valley. Good asphalt and usually not too much motor traffic.
