An easy hiking trail runs through the Silvestertal valley. From the paid parking lot at the "Alte Soge" alpine hut, you reach the Silvesteralm pasture. This path follows the Silvesterbach stream for quite a while. Don't be afraid of cows; there are 120 of them here (as of August 2025), and they sometimes block the path.

Some passages between the Arnese and Demut mountains are truly unique. You pass under or very close to rocks, the path is not wide and you will feel like you are pedaling in space. In some places you may have to get off and push the bike, but the effort is fully rewarded by an unparalleled view.

A highly picturesque valley, also a worthwhile destination in winter when you are deeply asleep.
