If you don't take the path over the Plapperthütte, but instead walk below it directly along the banks of the Thaya, you will always find hidden idyllic resting places in rock niches. Quiet and secluded, really nice for observing nature in complete silence.

The round shaped wooden house (formerly a horse stable) near the mine is currently being converted into a kind of motel by the Allram company. There are bunk beds for cyclists and short campers.

At the crossroads where Tut gut routes 1 and 2 separate, there is this refuge and a little way next to it there is a wooden table with benches. An idyllic rest area on the banks of the Moravian Thaya, where children can practice long hopping.

High on a rock above the Thaya overlooking a loop of the river, a shelter with a table and benches has stood since 1928. Opposite are the remains of the medieval settlement and castle complex “Sand”. According to tradition, the legendary robber Johann Georg Grasl also regularly rested here after his burglaries.

In an idyllic location almost on the banks of the Thaya, you will find this resting place on the hiking trail with tables and benches in the open air and in a hut. Nice picnic opportunity!
