The tour from Dölsach was very disappointing. Most of the way goes along the Drau, where you walk almost continuously in the sun in the morning and afternoon. Moreover, the entire path is gravel or asphalt. Only the last section in the forest and at the waterfall was very pleasant and good for walking.

Today I received the information from the municipality of Greifenburg that the entire route of the Goppnitzklamm can be accessed again. The wind and snow damage as well as the landslides of the last two years have been cleared up.

Beautifully prepared entrance to Weidenburg (unfortunately only from the east). Start to a short path to the Weidenburger waterfall. Very scenic waterfall only poorly signposted.

Super beautifully done 👍😎 ... a real dream, especially for children. Even in hot temperatures, the shade in the gorge is still pleasant 🌳🌿🌳

The Water Adventure Trail is beautiful. Plenty of photo opportunities. Unfortunately, we had to turn back at the end of the Water Adventure Trail because the rest of the gorge trail was closed due to the storm on August 30, 2020. (September 5, 2020) The rest of the gorge trail is still closed this year (August 2021).

This is a perfect hiking trail for families with children. There are several stations where your children can let off steam and learn about the power, benefits, and dangers of water.
