Beautiful swimming lake, there is a lot to do here from slides to a water playground and a kiosk. There is also a washing area for bikes, really very good. 👍

It is around 300 meters long, a hundred meters wide and a maximum of seven meters deep. The lake is fed by the Rechnitzbach, which rises near Geschreibenstein. The entire bathing area covers an area of more than five hectares. The lake is the starting point for numerous hiking trails through the Geschreibenstein Nature Park. A campsite for tents and mobile homes is available to guests on the lake site. In winter the frozen lake is an ideal ice skating spot.

Nice little swimming lake where you can cool off after descending one of the trails while waiting for the next shuttle to depart...if you really come here to get to know the trails and especially if you have a further journey and on the same day still has to drive home, he has little choice but to use the service because the uphill takes a lot of strength and endurance and is very long. After two ascents without a shuttle and two descents, most of us are at the end of the terrain because both uphill and downhill are very strenuous and time-consuming due to the length.
