Beautiful view of the Ötscher, Scheiblingstein and Dürrenstein not far from the Hochkogel summit. There is a beautiful circular hike from Schieflau as a starting point with over 500 m altitude. Most sun-hungry hikers escape the fog and take the starting point from the Panoramastüberl.

You can hike here at any time of year and enjoy a fantastic view. You can stop off at the Panoramastüberl. Many enthusiastic hikers also meet here on New Year's Eve to celebrate the end of the year.

The Gruber Kreuz is located on the secondary peak of the Hochkogelberg. The two peaks can be combined on a tour or hiked separately. The Gruber Kreuz can be reached from Perwarth in approx. 1 1/2 hours (approx. 350 m). From there you have a great view of the Ötscher and the surrounding Mostviertel mountains. Summit book available.
