Beautiful inn with a large parking lot

The Windisch-Hütte inn is idyllically situated in the Eichenhain Nature Park and is a classic Vienna Woods country inn with a beer garden. After the climb, you can recharge here with hearty home-style cooking and a drink before continuing your hike through the forest. It's an ideal stop for hikers and bikers around Weidling and Klosterneuburg.

Bring plenty of time! We arrived at the restaurant 20 minutes before a larger group. Unfortunately, the larger group was served before us... After waiting over an hour for our food last time, and over 30 minutes for someone to finally bring our drinks, we left right away!

There is also a nice place for a break. I hope the hunters don't mind. But you should always be considerate anyway!

The Windischhütte is also a good starting point for further hikes in the Eichenhain Nature Park, where you can visit, for example, the Adolf Robl Cross, the 300-year-old oak or the pear tree meadow.
