It's picturesque how the small stream winds its way under the bridge and past the old hut to reach the lake.

The Baßgeigensee is traversed by the Viktringerbach, which then runs through the Rauschelesee and flows into the Glanfurt below Viktring. Because of its strong current and its small volume, the Baßgeigensee in summer does not reach anywhere near the water temperatures of the neighboring larger lakes.

Beautiful inn at the end of the Tscheppa Gorge (with a bus stop for the return trip to the start of the gorge). The terrace or balcony is beautifully located behind the house (away from the street) with a view of the gorge. Delicious food, ice cream and very tasty beer!
