Old mining tunnel from the 16th century says a sign in front of the entrance. With a timer, you can even turn on the light and nothing stands in the way of a little exploration. If you are not claustrophobic, you should definitely go in. Waterproof shoes or even boots are recommended. But be careful, the tunnel is getting smaller and smaller. 😬

In the Lourdes Grotto you will find Saint Bernadette and the Blessed Virgin Mary, carved by the sculptor Horst Pali in 2018. The originals date from 1952.

The grotto itself is a bit tacky, but the path is nice.

The smaller cave (unfortunately only visible in one of the many photos) is located a bit off the hiking trail and not on the via ferrata.

One assumes that "thieves' ovens" have something to do with thieves. The caves are also located in such a way that you can easily imagine that in earlier times thieves stored their loot and spent their lives here. 😁
