The confluence of the Argen is located about 1 km from Blumegg near Neukirch. The Upper Argen rises near Oberstaufen and flows through Wangen after the wild Eistobel. The Lower Argen rises east of Missen and flows via Isny and Waltenweiler to the confluence of the Upper and Lower Argen.

The prices in the hut at the Pfänder summit are totally reasonable and the food is very tasty. It is rustic and cozy inside.
