After you have come to the top of the Dam and caught your first sight of the glacial lake hiding deep within the huge crater at the bottom of Langtang Lirung 7227m turn back on yourself. DO NOT try and cross on any stones that have water on them - it is extremely dangerous and will result in your slipping off into the waterfall. If you head down stream before the waterfall drops down steeply towards Kyangjin Gumba there are several large stones which lead to some smaller stones - take care when crossing and you will get to the other side. A short, steep and dusty scramble will see you on the ridge that is closest to the lake. Head towards the glacier ahead with Kyangjin Gumba on your right and the lake on your left

Nyauli, the name of a local bird, also the name of this impressive 200m waterfall that seems to start from the land of the gods and finishes way below your feet in the rapids of the ever companiable Bhudi Gandaki. Crossing the wide gorge using the first of what is rumoured to be many swinging cable bridges gives you the best view of all these delights!

This waterfall is located just before the Himlaya village. It is difficult to capture it in its entirety, as it is very large indeed.
