The Wadi Darbat waterfalls are very beautiful to look at, even now in February. Although they are not as full as later in the year, they still look beautiful when the water falls into the turquoise pools at various points.

Khor Diris, also known as the Three Palms Lagoon, is a beautiful little lagoon worth visiting. It is located about 70 km south of Ras Madrakah. Flamingos, spoonbills, herons and wild ducks are common here. However, today, a day in February, we did not see a single water bird. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful place!

Wadi Darbat is also a highlight outside of the rainy season and worth a visit. In April 2024, the waterfalls were of course smaller, but the wadi is not as crowded.

11월 25, 2018, Hidden Pool at the End of the Balcony Walk
This small pool can be found at the end of the Balcony Walk. If you cross the mostly dry stream at the end of the tour and then climb up the terraces to the left, you may find a few cairns that show you the way to the pool. When we were there, the water looked green and was not really suitable for bathing. If it has rained a few days before, but it may well offer a cool dip.

Beautiful beach, completely left to nature. On the beach are the local fishermen. The brackish water lake is fed both from the mountains and from the sea. An Eldorado for many birds.
