Not far from the Horizont cycling route (about 100 m away) we find this primarily tourist resting place, which got its name from the small house (hut) located here. A typical forest resting place, with wooden benches and tables. Unfortunately, the well is not working, water could be obtained from the Király well a few hundred meters away, but it was just dry when I visited. The cottage itself is locked, so I can only guess that it is a key house, for pre-registered tourists (???). Another thing worth mentioning is a map that covers a fairly large area of Pilis. A popular tour stop, resting place, which could be much better developed, and at least water would be available - but it is not.

!!! The tourist house is closed for renovation until autumn(?) 2024. By the looks of it, it still has at least a month of work to do. We did not find any working springs on the surrounding roads, so getting water can be a problem in hot weather. The spring called Király-kút is located a few hundred meters away from this rest place, and when we were there it barely flowed, but it was clean

The bivouac was built by unknown people in 2023 without permission, I hope it survives. The doors of the bivouacs are open to everyone and can be used free of charge.

Trout lakes? The lakes were neglected. Some wild ducks can be seen.

Very nice place with lots of food and drinks. You can relax on pleasant little fields or in sheltered houses. From there, many different routes lead to straight or circuitous routes, and it is possible to combine them. You can get there by car or bus. My recommendation: Pilissántorol on foot up to Dobogo :)

Dobogókő is one of my favorite places for a short break during long treks or as a day trip destination with friends and family. It is easy to reach, can be combined with many trails and you get beautiful views from and around the Dobogókő. It can be reached by car, bus or on foot. There are several possibilities to eat, especially traditional hungarian dishes cooked on the open fire (goulash soup, bean soup, wild goulash, etc.) and enough space to rest. Also small things like cakes, sandwiches, coffee or even ordinary hot food can be bought in the old ski hut.

Very nice cottage on about half way of the Spartakus Ösvény (spartakus path). The hut is closed but there are tables and benches in front with a fireplace. In case of thunderstorms you can shelter in the porch of the house (or in the wood store next to the house).
