Oasis with hot springs where you can take a refreshing dip. Two small refreshment bars for drinks and food... a historic landmark in this deserted area.

Oil was once drilled here, and since then, thermal water has been bubbling up from the ground. It's a wonderful experience to bathe in the warm water here on a cold desert night. Unfortunately, it smells strongly of sulfur, and the number of visitors has increased significantly. Anyone seeking peace and solitude in the desert will not find it here.

Relaxing water good for the skin

Mostly good asphalt, some parts even new and really smooth. Very good TT course. Very good mental training when it's windy, it's always straight ahead, you can see to the horizon when it's not so hazy. The salt lake is usually much smaller than it appears on the maps, it only reaches this size when it has rained a lot.

The asphalt is mostly good and not too rough. Traffic is limited. Very good TT track that is a lot of fun.

In Ksar Ghilane there is a campsite, a warm thermal pool, cafes and a restaurant. You can also go quad biking and ride a dromedary.

A swim in the lake always provides a refreshing cooling down. .... Clear desert nights - completely without light pollution - are definitely something you should experience at least once.
