Ostergau - a short description (from photo book Willisau): Only from the slopes of Wellberg can be guessed that this magnificent Pond landscape has been created by human hands. she is a unintended consequence of intensive peat cutting v.a during the second World War. The Ostergau with its fish-rich ponds is the habitat for one rich fauna and flora and today stands as a landscape of national importance under nature protection!
