The Wissbach Gorge is a wildly romantic side valley of the Glatt between Gossau, Flawil and Degersheim. A covered wooden walkway leads hikers safely through the gorge. A paradise for families with children.
Wildly romantic ravine with a large semi-cave, waterfall with pond, steep steps and a beautiful path along the babbling Sonnental village stream. BBQ area. Pure idyll just a little away from the village.
The Wissbachschluchtweg is an impressive hiking trail with its many wooden bridges and footbridges. The Wissbach offers inviting barbecue areas and countless beautiful spots for swimming in the warmer half …
Beautiful interesting gorge with great hiking trails. Again and again barbecue areas on the whole tour. Also suitable for children. You can splash around in the Wissbach.
To the left and right of the path there is a washed out and rocky brook, the Wissbach and the Glatt, which merge shortly afterwards and continue to flow as Glatt.
Steep paths down to the actually exciting Sonnentaler Bachtobel (both sides), with a lot of steep stairs. Pushing and carrying is the order of the day ... or vice versa.
Little recommendable with eMTB, at best with light bioMTB.
