Rohan Fortress is a historic castle in Switzerland. The original structures were largely destroyed during World War II to make way for modern military installations, which were subsequently demolished. Today, only a few traces of the walls and foundations remain, testifying to the complex's ancient divisions.

The castle of Castels or Putzerburg is the ruins of a hilltop castle near the village of Putz in Prättigau in the canton of Graubünden.

Beautiful, small castle ruins with a view of the valley. The valley walls are still intact, though those facing the gorge were demolished long ago.

A truly epic, large ruin with a heavy gate, which is open, however! Only the tower is inaccessible!

Remains of the fortress built in 1675 during the Grisons Wars on a hill above Susch. Impressive ruins with a beautiful panoramic view of the central Engadin. The two hiking trails up the hill are rather steep, and often require pushing the bike.

The paths through the forest are quiet and beautiful.

Opposite there is a white tower on the hill. It is made of marble and is empty inside. The acoustics are a sensory experience, as are the small sculptures in the garden. A visit to the museum is worth it. The facility was bought back by the original owners in 2009 and high-quality exhibitions take place in the public area.
