Entry costs 2.- At the entrance there is a machine with a turnstile - you can put 1 or 2 francs into the machine and then go through the (narrow) turnstile. In the pool there is a toilet, a changing room, lockers (you have to bring your own padlock) and public showers with cold water. It is a lovely, cozy and small lakeside pool. Opening times: 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. There are no food options in the pool, but there is a very nice ice cream stand with seating near the pool.

Created in the 15th century for fish farming, Hauptwil's five ponds are now an idyllic local recreation area and are protected. The Horbacher Weier is the middle of the five ponds.

New (still) unsightly dam to the large Biessenhoher Weier. Built due to new dam regulations without trees and bushes. Addendum July 24: slowly the vegetation and life are returning, it looks good.
