After a short, steep climb, you will find two impressive caves on the Tannhäuser Steig - the Prollinger Cave and the Tannhäuser Cave. A "picnic table" has been prepared in the Prollinger Cave and in the Tannhaus Cave you can still find the Knight Tannhaus who guarded the treasure in the cave. There are several legends from the region around him. On the information boards near the caves you can find exact details.

Here you can enjoy cool drinks for a few euros. On a tree stump is a small box of trust. Alcohol-free to alcoholic drinks you can enjoy here. Great idea in the middle of a quaint environment. Drinks are in a small cave where the temperatures are cool all summer.
