I have to correct the Mäxi a bit, if you take the gravel road turn-off directly on the R2 under the Autobahn bridge and drive along the small road next to the Autobahn. After a few hundred meters, turn left again under the 2nd motorway bridge, then you come to the Retzhof and you don't have to take the dirt track. You can also get to the city of Leibnitz via Retzhofer Straße.

Ehrenhausen is a very nice place with a beautiful town centre. Unfortunately for cyclists there is only the state road to drive through and no cycle path.

Schloss Seggau is more than a castle: like a small town, it lies on a gentle hill in the middle of the southern Styrian wine region. Hotel Schloss Seggau has been known as a destination for decades. Probably the most impressive rooms in the palace are the princely rooms. The bishop's wine cellar, which is over 300 years old, is one of the oldest and largest in the country.

Great small town center. Unfortunately, the through traffic is almost unbearable.

Very nice castle. It's worth looking at the high part. And then go all the way through. At the end of the arch there is a nice meadow where you can picnic.

Nice little castle, which is a little off the Mur Cycle Path. Attention, there is only a small signpost on the R2 and the path leads briefly over a beaten path through fields and through a small forest - but it is definitely worthwhile! Great location for events and seminars with an attached educational facility and guest house with many leisure facilities.
