👏🏼Great place to stop for a break👏🏼, 👍🏻Very good value for money 👍🏻 They do a great job here, run on a voluntary basis. Homemade cakes🍰, drinks, sausages in bread and much more👍🏻🌭☕️ at good/cheap prices. Thank you for that 👍🏻🙋🏽♂️

The Nature Friends House has a nice terrace where you can enjoy homemade cakes (cheesecake with mandarins was super delicious). The coffee was freshly made. The Nature Friends House is run by an association and the catering is run by volunteers (hence self-service).

Staatsforst Burgholz is a forest area known for its nationwide unique arboretum, in which forest science studies are carried out, in which an ecological interlocking of foreign wood with native species takes place. This was achieved by planting the foreign tree species (including sequoia trees) within the local woody plants at the beginning of the 70s.
