The inner seal consists of a diaphragm wall made of earth concrete (clay concrete), which has a clay core on both sides and a support body made of rock and stone. The main reservoir has an area of 116 hectares and a storage volume of around 10 million cubic metres. The length and width of the reservoir are around 1.2 km.
