In the heart of Saxony, you can expect a rustic mine tour in the water-technical systems of the 19th century. Equipped with helmet, overalls and goggles, we enter the mine by boat. With us, the first turbine turned underground in Freiberg mining ("Kreiselradgezeug") from 1843. We have reconstructed the first functional assemblies on a scale of 1:1 and are happy to demonstrate this technology in a practical demonstration underground. Working with mallets and irons on site complements our practical part. Via rides (ladders) we get safely back to daylight. For particularly interested guests, we also offer an extended tour through the developed area of 800 years of mining history after making an appointment in good time.
