This was once the foal breeding ground of Augustus the Strong, and hay for the horses was harvested in the stable yard. The construction work will not disrupt beer garden operations. Worth seeing hiking hut at the relative end of a hike

The Hofewiese is always worth a trip. There is a great beer garden in the middle of nature. Regional food and drinks are also offered at a moderate price. There is plenty of space for children to play and run around. Absolutely recommended for walkers, hikers and cyclists.
