The Fiedlergrund in Radebeul is an idyllic valley with a lot of history. Its stream, once a powerful watercourse, now disappears into the sand. Formerly known as Walthers Grund, it was a popular tourist destination with a pub. Today, a nature trail leads through forests and past old quarries.

Lost Stream, Young Heath. Info: The Pfarrbuschgraben, also known as the "Lost Stream," seeps into the ground in the Young Heath. Between the plateau in northern Dresden and the heathland terrace of the Elbe Valley (Young Heath, Heller), streams with a low, seasonally fluctuating flow can be found, which disappear into the sandy soil after a short distance.
