Directly on the Baltic Sea cycle path at NSG Schwansener See. From here you can easily observe some of the bird species that rest here. In the other direction there is a beautiful view over the Baltic Sea.

The hiking trail leads along a covered and spacious shelter directly to the Schlei.

The NABU station is located directly on the Baltic Coast Cycle Path with a small vantage point from which you can watch the birds in the Schwansener See nature reserve at any time of the year. Views over the Baltic Sea are of course also possible.

The Schwansener See nature reserve is looked after by the German Nature Conservation Association (NABU), which also runs an information hut on site where you can find out everything about the flora and fauna at Schwansener Lake. Since 2019, a 4 meter high viewing platform has risen above the NABU hut, from which you can enjoy a panoramic view of the nature reserve and the Baltic Sea beach.
