Pec pod Sněžkou, a mountain town hidden in the valley of the Úpa River, is one of the most important tourist and sports centers of the eastern Krkonoše Mountains. Thanks to its location in the heart of the mountain range, it is an ideal place for lovers of nature, active recreation and winter sports. The town offers an extensive ski area, which is equipped with 11 slopes of various difficulty levels. From beginners to experienced skiers, everyone will find ideal conditions here for their skills and preferences. The area is equipped with modern ski lifts and cable cars, which ensures convenient and quick access to the slopes, as well as beautiful views of the surrounding mountain landscape.

An interesting chapel (more impressive than most roadside ones) with beautiful flowers, situated on the edge of some rather lovely ponds on Kasztanowa Street. It's worth stopping here for a closer look.

The dam was built between 1910 and 1914. Even in winter, it is worth taking a walk here from Spindleruv Mlyn.
