A deep ravine full of wild nature between Gemeinlebarn and Einöd. Since there's a "No Entry" sign with the note "Except cyclists" standing right in the middle of it, I figure it can't be that forbidden to drive through there.

The Gspöttgraben is an idyllic forest valley on Vienna City Hiking Trail 2. The trail follows the stream through shady forests, accompanied by the rippling water and the tranquility of the Vienna Woods. A particularly atmospheric section that combines enjoyment of nature with relaxation.

Unfortunately, part of the cave has collapsed, so entering the cave is prohibited.

The concrete-lined “Gspöttgraben” carries only a small amount of water in dry periods. After heavy rain events, it becomes a raging “mountain stream”.

To the east of the Andreas Hofer-Zeile, the famous Felsenweg stretches out in the Baden spa park. The popular hiking trail leads past steep rock formations made of Wetterstein dolomite, which are sometimes reminiscent of the high mountains. The path along the rocky path is secured by a railing and, due to the steep slopes, offers a wonderful view to the southwest and west. You can see the town of Baden, the viaduct with the high-altitude spring water pipeline and the Rauheneck castle ruins above the Helenental.

The Hammerschmiedgraben is an idyllic hiking highlight, featuring a picturesque staircase along the stream of the same name. The trail leads through a tranquil gorge up to the vineyards of the Burgstall, offering a charming combination of nature and wine landscape—a worthwhile detour for anyone who appreciates quiet paths and an authentic atmosphere.
