In the meantime, the forest hut has been completely renovated and it shines with solid wood and the inside will certainly be cozy and inviting.

Beautiful hut on the edge of Hudelmoos. It has a barbecue area and seating. It's available for rent. It's usually well-attended.

There is a fountain and a grill for eating sausages.

You can get food and drink at the private Hörnlihüsli when you climb up to the border triangle (Canton Thurgau, St. Gallen and Zurich).

The small hut is open every Wednesday (when the Hörnli mountain inn is closed), see photo with food and drinks menu. The landlord is a local, nice, older gentleman who immediately welcomes you. The Schlorzifladen is particularly recommended, hhmmm delicious.

The house with the red shutters is privately owned and is located in the canton of Zurich. Looking from above you can see the small hut behind the boundary stone on the left, which is located on Thurgau soil. The bench and the signpost are in St. Gallischen. Overall, a nice view towards Alttoggenburg.
