Ventarola is a very small village, with some beautiful stone houses. One of these has been renovated and transformed into a refuge, available to those who travel the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri. However, upon reservation, the refuge is also available for bikers who want to stop in Ventarola.

Very nice mountain hut with a great view

A breathtaking view of the Ligurian Sea and the surprise of finding the shelter open for a quick snack (November 2022)... A place accessible to all that definitely deserves to be visited.

Spectacular visit to Rapallo and the Gulf of Tigullio

Nice refuge managed by the Rapallo alpine group. It does not offer a restaurant service except during events and celebrations. When it is open inside you can admire old photos and alpine tools. Easily reachable even by 6-year-old children thanks to a short very panoramic climb that starts from the asphalted road of P.sso della Crocetta where you can leave the car (parking practically absent but tolerated along the road)

Hard pass but not very frequented by cars, perfect for climbers and lovers of greenery

The mountain roads from Sopralacroce to Prato Mollo and Rifugio Monte Aiona each offer fantastic views of the Ligurian mountains at a moderate incline.
