The picnic area near the City of Vienna's forester's lodge is situated in the heart of a tranquil wooded area and is a popular rest stop for cyclists. The lodge is maintained by the City of Vienna's Forestry and Agricultural Department and serves as a starting point for recreation in nature. The picnic area is equipped with tables and benches and offers ample space for a break in a natural setting. Surrounded by forest paths, the area is ideal for a short stop during a bike tour. Its peaceful location makes it particularly attractive for those seeking relaxation.

The Mostalm is permanently closed and no longer operates as a refreshment stop. The building is empty and now serves only as a landmark for hikers exploring the Vienna Woods. Please observe all barriers and signs on site and use other huts or inns for your breaks.

This is a great place to take a leisurely break on a hike through the beautiful Vienna Woods.

You can drink very tasty beer and sparkling wine here.

You can also take a leisurely walk up here with children from Schwarzenberg Park. Bring a snack with you - there is no restaurant.
