Beautiful trails to choose from whether via lake, woodland or track - rewarding stop off at Henry’s at Woodchester for brunch, tea variations, barista coffee, pastries and cake.. not to mention Stroud Brewery Beers, Oliver’s Fine Cider and Woodchester Valley Wines. Adventure trail for children and adults👌💫

It’s a wide open space, with lake, wildfowl, children’s play area, bandstand and public toilets near the entrance by the church.

There are several smaller trails at the lake edge if you search for them and get off the beaten track.

The upper trail is currently close due to forestry work (April 2021), but it's still possibly to get through by sticking closer to the lakes. Absolutely stunning valley at any time of the year.

A delightful footpath through the valley to the lakes. Gets a little boggy around the lakes, but nothing too bad.

This is only a footpath, please don't ride it. It occasionally appears in local mountain bike events where they get special permission.

Taking you through Woodchester park, by woodchester mansion and down past the bottom lakes, following some lakeside singletrack at the bottom. veer off early for the Blue trail or take the yellow trail for a scenic loop, they all meet up further down

The Cotswold Water Park is the UK’s largest marl lake system. Covering an area of 40 square miles, it boasts more than 150 lakes set across Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, and West Oxfordshire. Many of the lakes and areas have been designated as nature reserves and are home to myriad wildlife. As the park covers a large area, it is free to enter.
