private property very quiet area, lovely bridle paths however have to keep dogs on lead most areas.

Stunning Duck Pond in the equally beautiful (and very sleepy) village of Alderton. The ducks have nesting boxes & are free to come & go as they please. You can't go "in." As such, there's a fence around the pond & nest boxes, but it was lush to watch the array of ducks for a while!!

A lovely tranquil spot by a charming old boat house. A great spot to stop with lovely views of Middle and Old Ponds.

One of the highlights (of which there are many) of a truly beautiful and secluded valley.

A delightful footpath through the valley to the lakes. Gets a little boggy around the lakes, but nothing too bad.
