크리들링 스텁‬에서 가장 멋진 ‪3‬개의 호수

스푼빌 플래시(Spoonbill Flash)는 넓고 탁 트인 수변 전망을 제공하며, 이곳에서는 왜가리, 해오라기, 그리고 많은 수의 오리들이 자주 먹이를 찾거나 쉬어갑니다. 바로 옆에 있는 모트(Moat)는 더 좁고 갈대로 둘러싸인 수로로, 물총새, 논병아리 및 조용한 가장자리를 선호하는 다른 종들을 발견하기에 이상적입니다.

Fairburn Ings의 더 조용한 석호 중 하나를 조망할 수 있는 평화롭고 전통적인 조류 관찰대입니다. 이 관찰대는 오랜 기간 RSPB 자원봉사자로 활동한 Bob Dickens의 이름을 따서 명명되었으며, 방해 요소가 적고 보호되는 환경에서 습지 조류를 가까이에서 볼 수 있습니다. 강변 또는 디스커버리 트레일에서 물떼새, 오리, 왜가리를 관찰하고 운이 좋으면 물총새나 쇠물닭까지 볼 수 있는 조용한 장소를 원한다면 훌륭한 휴식 장소입니다.

Fairburn Ings nature reserve is managed by the RSPB. It used to be a coal mine but has been transformed over the last 60 years to a haven for wildlife. It's an important breeding and nesting site for water birds. The star species that you may see are Bittern, Willow Tit, Kingfisher, Tree Sparrow and Spoonbill. The visitor centre has information, toilets and a cafe. It's open 10:00 - 17:00 in the summer and 10:00 - 16:00 in the winter.

Lovely place to relax at side of lake, with a reasonable priced cafe, if this is closed the Flower shop cafe across the the road do excellent cake.

Cafe is superb value (beans on toast plus a coffee for under £2).

Great little cafe on the lake plus a bakers and a co-op, so it's a good place for a stop.
