The Heart of England arboretum and other woodlands are well maintained as you would expect. Clearly marked footpaths with well placed benches at regular intervals.

Good ride today for charity ( IAm Versus Arthritis ) August cycling challenge. Beautiful riding part of my rout round the lake.

Recommend the café at the visitor centre or try Kaz's cafe by etb exhausts. It is close. look for Otters and Terrapins as well as cormorant's and geese in the lake.

Nice area, usually very crowded. Most of the paved sections have an off-road parallel path for MTB lovers.

Stunning views all around the lake area, plenty of paths & dirt tracks for walkers & cyclist. There is also a cafe on the waters edge.

Built in the 1970s, Arrow Valley Country Park is a 900-acre green getaway in Redditch. The park is popular with cyclists, dog-walkers and water sports lovers. Its 27-acre lake is home to the Redditch Sailing Club and you'll find many people fishing and birdwatching on its edges. You can visit the visitor center in the park to find out more about its history and nature. There's also a cafe.

Situated within the National Trust grounds, this is a little gem showcasing bog plants. Children love this area.
