Great place for a coffee or an ice cream 10 minute stop or the river just below for the dogs

YHA Edale is perfectly situated for exploring this area of the Peak District. The walks from the door are excellent and it's easily reached by foot from Edale train station. The staff are all outdoorsy and can help offer some ideas if you need inspiration. Single or private rooms available.

Upper Booth Farm is owned and managed by the National Trust. There is a seasonal campsite and camping barn open from 24th March to 28th October each year. The Pennine Way National Trail passes through the farmyard. Please be careful to leave gates as you find them and keep dogs under control as there is very likely to be animals wondering freely.

A stone igloo shaped shelter tucked away on the moors. It's a lovely spot for a tea stop. There is a bench for seating, but the doorway is very low!

The farmroad part can be quite boring.

Need to go off track to find it though it's visible from Sheffield Road looking over to the railway vent shaft. Follow the wall on the left from the Chapel Gate turning to find it!
