Good place to enjoy some wildlife and nature in Weymouth. Had a little picnic there on the way back from Weymouth to Dorchester. There are a few of these pontoons or walkways out into h lake along this stretch.

Tranquil, scenic nature preserve with wetlands & paths for viewing waterfowl, such as swans & ducks. It's a nice ride along here especially just after sunset and sometimes in the winter you'll get magical murmurations.
