The sixth "summit" of the Seven Sisters. The hiking trail meanders over the chalk cliffs with gentle inclines, a great experience.

A beautiful little windswept hill where the trees certainly take the brunt of the strong winds coming in from the sea with their peculiar swept back hairstyle branches.

The trig point has a distant backdrop of the South Downs away to the west towards Cliffe Hill and Firle Beacon. The famous 'Long Man of Wilmington' is beyond the fence on the steep north side of the hill.

Wilmington Hill is a small summit in the South Downs area not far from Eastbourne. It is 214 metres high and is a designated Marilyn and has a trig pointed summit.

Beautiful views. Always worth the climb. Lovely place to stop for a snack, though can get breezy so need to shelter behind the gorse.
