The stone temple of the Prophet Elijah, which stands on the bank of the Velikaya River, was built of flagstone in the 15th century. Presumably, there was an older temple here, since the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow has an icon of the Holy Prophet Elijah from the church in Vybuty, dating back to the 13th century.
