Very beautiful rest place with shelter and toilet next to the rocky lakeshore. The boulders, together with the trees and the deep blue water, offer fantastic photo opportunities.

Even in cooler and rainy weather, it's a great place to stop for a break, as the hut is self-contained and has large windows. There's also a cooking area.

The Finnish countryside around Karkunkylä is a wonderful place to cycle on quiet roads with little traffic. Again and again you meet water.

good alternative to the main road, not much traffic, winding with gentle rolling hills, nice views of the lake in the middle, a section of bike path in the northern end (mostly useful for schoolchildren I guess, even switches sides at one point...), okay asphalt on the roadway

Stone cave .... then it goes rocky down! The way is not fixed! Good surefootedness is essential!
