Teijo is a scenic village area in the city of Salo, known for its Teijo National Park, which offers peaceful lakes, forest trails, and seaside views. Teijo Church, was constructed between 1829 and 1830 and was commissioned by ironmaster Robert Bremer. The church's design is inspired by Chinese pagodas, featuring a distinctive octagonal shape and a pagoda-style roof, and is situated atop a hill overlooking the village.

The Kimitoön Archipelago comprises over 500 islands, with Kimitoön being the largest. Renowned for its stunning natural beauty, the archipelago offers a blend of lush forests, rocky shores, and charming coastal villages. It's a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, providing activities such as kayaking, cycling, and hiking, especially within the Archipelago National Park .​

You find wooden boardwalks all over Teijo National Park. In this particular spot it leads over the water, that's covered in beautiful water lilies.

Finnish summers aren't exactly known for big heat, but in case you still feel hot during your walk, this is the perfect spot to refresh in the beautiful lake!

In two places, rafts on the rope cross the Saharjärvi. Also for children a nice experience. On the island there is a nice barbecue area.
