A very beautiful waterfall with a loud noise from the falling water, located next to the Vilarinho das Furnas Dam, more or less halfway along the sand road that serves the site of the old village of Vilarinho.

The Laja Waterfall owes its name to the small stream that feeds it, which flows freely through dense vegetation. Hidden behind a picturesque wooden bridge and surrounded by a lush forest, where the oak trees create an almost magical setting, this waterfall is a true enchanted refuge.

The Leonte Waterfall appears when the waters of the Taleira stream fall from a granite cliff, plunging 19 metres into the bed of the Gerês River. However, in drier summers, nature imposes its own rhythm and the flow can disappear, transforming the waterfall into a temporary silence.

Impressive waterfall in the heart of the Baixa Limia natural park, in the Serra do Xurés. In the rainy season, the water descends forcefully to the Caldo River.

Generally speaking, it's a beautiful pool, but because it's so central and easily accessible, it's also quite crowded. There are a few parking spaces, but when it's very busy, they're far from enough. There are certainly nicer and more relaxing pools. It's not ideal for lying or sitting either.
