Monte Girella, in ancient times was called Montagna di Ascoli. From here, at 1800 meters, there is a beautiful view of the Sibillini, Laga and Gran Sasso. Weather permitting, you can even see the Croatian coast.
Monte Foltrone is part of the Monti Gemelli (together with the Montagna dei Fiori). With its 1718 meters it is the highest peak of the Campli mountain.
The Corno Grande, with its 2912 m a.s.l. it is the highest peak of the Gran Sasso massif, Pizzo Intermesoli instead is the third highest peak after Corno Grande and Corno Piccolo.
