As an alternative to the via ferrata on the Türml, you can climb north to a sub-peak of the Großer Happs.

It's a nice place to rest on the way to Böses Weibl. The flat plain also offers some panoramic views.

A beautiful plateau opens up, offering lovely views toward Böses Weibele or along the Eselsteig trail. A small hut awaits those who are caught off guard by the weather.

We hiked from the Eisseehütte to the Johannishütte. Since the rope-secured passage is ascended from the direction of the Zopertscharte (easy climbing up), we found it easier. We also found the descent to the Johannishütte easier. The difficulty is difficult to classify. We are mountain hiking experienced and passed the passage well in bright sunshine. I without a climbing harness, my wife (not 100% free from giddiness) with me to calm down.

First of all: the marking of the Zopetscharte is wrong. The Zopetscharte is a rugged rock transition from the Eisseehütte to the Johannishütte.

The Peischlachtörl is at almost 2500 m and is a stopover point for several tours (e.g. Glorer Hütte - Böses Weebl...). A small emergency shelter is located here!

The Türmeljoch marks the transition from the Maurertal to the Hinterbichler Dorfertal. There is a great via ferrata up to the Türmle.
